Day 1
August 1, 2009
We started (well, mostly me) the 30 day challenge with EA Sports Active (Wii). I’m extending it to 90 days to coincide with the 12 week book I have by Elle Krieger. I want to have healthy habits and take better care of myself, and eat right & lost about 150 pounds. I can do this.
So I got up this morning, did my 20 minute exercise (it was mostly upper body – I think I will have to do a DVD for lower body, as the leg strap does not fit my leg. Yet.) Now I am drinking water, some green tea, and for breakfast I am having 1 C strawberry yogurt (low fat of course), 1 medium banana, and 1/2 kashi go lean. Yum!

Hey there! I am actually starting my 30 day challenge today too. I am doing 30 days at a time (since next month, I may want to do something else like swimming daily or bike riding, etc… though likely I will still use the EASA game, either as my main activity or for fun a few nights a week)
I really enjoy the exercises that EASA offers. I look forward to doing it tomorrow, and I just finished a couple hours ago for todays!
(Btw, having the WiiFit board changes some of the exercises, if you have one and haven’t used it. The boxing includes kicks, the skating includes balancing on one leg while you pass over “hay bales”, others too I imagine, but those are what I came across today)
As for the leg strap? You can try adding something to extend it. Possibly another strip of velcro attached to the existing one?
If you don’t mind, I would love to add you to my blogroll and check back on your progress. Maybe we can help motivate each other

Hi! I hope your challenge is going well! Ive had to up the intensity of mine – the lower impact was a tad too short after a while. I am going to start walking daily in addition to the EASA. We do have the balance board – but I have no tried it yet with this. I will soon tho.
Please do add me! I will add your blog as well. Good luck to you!!
(Ive also completely forgotten to update my blog since I started!!! Oops! Thats another goal. hehe)
